Before you start
Booking runs on a website chat channel, so you need one that is switched on, with booking allowed among the chat's actions. Set your working hours and closed days under Appointments → Calendar, and connect a calendar if you want busy times there to stay closed. The Booking page says which of these is still missing. Only the organization owner can change these settings; everyone else can see them.
Meeting types
Under Appointments → Meeting types, each type has a
name, a length, how often a meeting can start, buffers, notice, how
far ahead it can be booked, where it happens and who hosts it. Each
also has an embed value such as demo, shown
beside it with a copy button.
- With one bookable type, clients go straight to its calendar.
- With several, they choose one first, by name, length and description.
-
To skip the choice, open one type directly: add its embed value to
your link (
…/your-address/demo) or to the website snippet (data-type="demo"). A type that has been switched off or deleted opens the list with a short notice instead.
Your booking link
- Open Appointments → Booking page.
-
Choose the address:
book.fellix.ai/followed by 3 to 40 lowercase letters, digits and hyphens. Fellix suggests one from your organization's name. - Turn Link on on and select Save. Copy the link into your email signature, social profiles or messages.
Changing the address stops the old link working, so update it wherever you shared it. The address of a deleted booking page is never given to another business. The link shows your language when you choose one under Language of your link; otherwise it follows the visitor's browser (English or Turkish).
On your website
Under On your website on the same page, copy the calendar snippet and paste it where the calendar should appear. It fills the width it is given and grows with each step. It works whether or not your booking link is on, and only on websites your chat allows, when you have listed any.
Snippets pasted before the Booking page existed keep working and now wear its look.
How it looks
The same look applies to your link and to every calendar snippet: the accent colour (or a neutral one), light, dark or automatic colours, two panes or a compact layout for narrow columns, whether times start in 12 or 24 hours, a short welcome line and whether your logo shows. The preview beside the settings shows each change on a desktop, tablet or phone before you save, on any step from the meeting types to a sample confirmation that books nothing. "Powered by Fellix" follows the single switch under Settings → Brand.
Search engines
Hide from search engines is on for a new booking page: the link works for anyone who has it, but Google and others are asked not to list it. Turn it off if you want people to find the page by searching.
Turning it off
Turn Link on off and save: the link then says the page is not available. To stop the calendar on your website, remove the snippet from your pages, or turn booking off for the chat, which stops both.
Troubleshooting
- The link says the page is not available. Check that Link on is on and saved, that the address is the saved one, and that a website chat is switched on.
- No times are offered. Check your working hours, closed days and the type's notice and horizon, and that the people who host it are still in your organization.
- The calendar does not appear on your website. Check that the website is among the chat's allowed websites, and that the snippet's container comes before the script.
